Hi I used to be severe and now am moderate. I believe recovery is possible but depends on many factors and it’s complex and wish each of u and myself only more improvement each day.
I need advice please.
Next week I have a 3 day meeting which I have to attend and I have to speak for half a day twice and one full day. Right now talking and cognitive stuff seems to send me into a crash (not as severe as before) the most and the quickest. I couldn’t talk pretty much at all for months when severe. Now I can handle a few hours. So I’m concerned about the meeting. And I have to sit upright but I currently recline on the sofa most of the day. So do u have any tips that would help me endure it? I’ll get a lunch break when I will try to lie down but otherwise no breaks and it’s a full day thing. I’m willing to use caffeine (don’t drink it), energy drink, anything to help me get through. Healthy, unhealthy, as its just for 3 days. Any ideas? It starts on tue so would appreciate replies.
When I get to my limit when talking my voice changes, I get fatigue and soreness in body, throat n need to lie down, heart rate goes up and I feel shaky, etc. typical stuff. I can’t afford to just stop talking during the meeting so how do I get through it? I also can’t afford to make the people present think I’m sick (they don’t know about it - it’s not an environment where I won’t be allowed to rest or have their sympathy If I’m unwell- quite the opposite so I need to remain calm and appear well too). Thanks in advance!
