Also, Dude, Chronic Fatigue is not the preferred nomenclature. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, please.
I have drawn a line in the sand when it comes to coffee & milk in the mornings. For this, I may not budge on. It is my Shomer Shabbos. Besides, both goat & rice milk taste pukey & hemp milk is too expensive. Soy? Too chalky. DN makes her own almond milk, but I think I'm probably still sensitive to almonds. I can't win for losing! Luckily, I pounded a container of Kefir without reading about all the CFS weirdness with regard to D-Lactate, etc., & just like the autistic kids, most of us have staff (like me!) & strep going on in the intestines. And iron that I can't use that makes me anemic, etc., etc., etc. Bottom line is I think I am supposed to be both gluten & casein free.
I'm happy to report a solid 5 today w/ minimal brainfog. Fluconazole seems to be working, & Dr.Birkie has given me a ton of refills (doesn't want to talk to me anymore?). Thank you, S, for the candida books. I'm going to consult them to decide on the best course of treatment (again, guerrilla medicine, I say!). Today I stuck to a diet of raw vegetables, rice crackers, a tiny bit of cheese (I know, but it was almond cheese, it just had some casein in it!), & a plethora of nut butters which will most certainly make me allergic to them. Still looking forward to incrementally increasing my supplements again & hoping to get it all going before we all get sick from the start of the new school year. I might even put D-Ribose in my coffee again to make sure we get there on time.
