I am so incredibly grateful for my physician. She is an internist and not a CFS specialist, according to her thinking, anyway. But I have found that everything she has recommended and prescribed has turned out to be along the lines with CFS "experts". She is protectively cautious, yet always seems to be looking for what can help me. She referred me to the strain counterstrain physical therapy (posted under "Pain Management" on the forum) which has already given me so much relief! She gives me her full attention, returns calls quickly, gives me credit for having a brain, calls just to see how I'm doing after a change in meds, and prays for me, with me, after asking permission, every time I see her or talk with her on the phone.
As I read about those who have had so many docs that just don't get it...and though I've had a few of those myself...I am even more grateful for her!
