I don't think that GcMAF is something that will just "stop working." We are talking about your own macrophages not a medication. You are likely just very sensitive to increasing your macrophages (which may mean they have a bigger job to do and thus more reaction).

I'd say to time your doses by when you get over feeling the effects of the last dose.

Daffodil, some of the good effects of the MAF314 weren't apparent until I had stopped taking it. Not sure if GC-MAF can be the same. It took a few weeks after stopping the MAF 314 that I noticed the decrease in ME symptoms. It may be for some of us that the effect takes time and we may even benefit from stopping the drug, taking a break and seeing what happens.

GcMAF is a long process with various ups and downs. I would try not to think about it on a day to day basis as you are just causing yourself stress and anxiety which wont help the situation. Just take it and try and forget about it as much as possible and maybe have a review once a month. All easier said than done i know!

Hi all,

Is there any difference in efficiency and/or theoretical potency between injecting a gcmaf dose weekly or injecting a third of this dose three times a week (every other day or so)?

Thank you in advance.

I don't know for sure but I would think so as the effect of GcMAF lasts 6 or 7 days--or so it is thought. People seem to be best with injecting once a week, letting the macrophage activation peak and then injecting the next week. Some space it out even more than a week if they need to let symptoms die down.

Hi Sushi, thank you very much!

For the past month and a half I have been giving me gcmaf injections every three days. I started with 2 ng and every two or three weeks I upped the amount 2ng or 4ng. I am currently at about 14 ng every 3 days. Proceeding in this way I try to find my maximum tolerate dose.
From 4 ng or 8 ng doses I began to notice a little more energy (strange feelings of more energy) but the rest of symptoms keep unchanged. However It seems I lost partially some of these energy feelings with higher doses (from 10ng). Maybe It is a sign that the body begins to fight against something... I don't know.

I have not experienced any noticeable side effect, so I wonder if dividing the weekly dose in smaller ones & taking more often, efficacy is maintained and side effects become more tolerable. Or is it just because its effect is not as powerful & efficient as taken altogether in a single dose (weekly).

Do you know if there is any study, experiences from othe people or information about?.

Thank you again.

Hi guys , I’ve bean wondering ……side affects to one side ………any one know if there

is there a limited number of macrophage or macrophage sites for the maf to work on ?

i.e can you take too much or too little …………………

Any one know if maf/Gcmaf has a half life while looking for the macrophage in the body ?
And

You guys think if there was no side effect its best in one big dose or lots of small ones ?

Cheers ………….

I don't know about the first part but I have read that the height of the macrophage activation is 3 or 4 days after an injection.

Best wishes,

You don't need to feel side effects for it to be working. One of the people for whom it worked the best had a few side effects for one day a week for a few months, then nothing--though got steadily better.

I get no side effects now but my tests are steadily improving and so are my symptoms.

I believe it was Yamamoto who stated in one of his papers that the half life of GcMAF was 6 days. Based on this half life, I would assume that you could calculate/estimate the amount of circulating GcMAF over time and after subsequent shots.
