Hi Daffodil,

I hope that you will not get any adverse effects. Dr. E. told me that he can tell pretty quick (maybe after shot 3?) if it's going to work for someone.
Did they give you a supply to take home or are ou going to travel in weekly?

All the best,

Nielk

I'm sorry to hear how lousy you are feeling. I can certainly empathize. I hope you will be a good res-ponder to the Gcmaf!
From what I heard at Dr. Enlander's office, the ones who are good res ponders are doing great.

The best of luck and more strength,
Nielk

If you have time to ask Daffodil, I'd be curious to know if there are vitamins that shouldn't be taken in high doses on gcmaf. Like vitamin C to bowel tolerance or high dose b12 and folate.

Charles is apparently having a lot of success on vitamin C mega doses, b12 and folate and some other amino acids so maybe combining that with gcmaf would be a good idea (or not!)

Okay daff not about Gcmaf but.... sinus drainage as taught by a chiropractor.
put 2 thumbs/or fingers in middle of forehead push gently out towards the ears in a soft sweeping motion
From middle of your nose use 2 fingers and do the same motion towards your ears
From just below ears and on jawline follow the line of the neck downwards towards collar bone (don't have to go that far though)
I can feel the sinus start draining straight away if I do it.
I haven't had sinus problems for 4 years but an allergic reaction has got them congested again. My head felt like it was going to explode a couple of nights ago and I thought I was going to have a stroke, I have never experienced pressure like it. If thats what you have been suffering with well I don't know how you have coped god help you.
I have done this 3 times a day and at night whilst in bed it give me instant relief, but it does come back so its not a permanent solution, have to get rid of the allergens, but don't ask me how.

A very good form of Vit C and hefty doses (LiveOn is good) are sometimes recommended, plus high dose injections of hydrox B12. Nexavir is often given too and it should have active folates in it though some do add something like Folopro. High quality, high dose probiotics are usually given according to digestive tests as well as other meds and supps to clear up digestive problems that tests show.

Some doctors give IV amino acids.

Many of the standard supportive supplement like minerals, Co Q ten and basic vitamins seem helpful--maybe not specifically in relation to GcMAF but for general nutritional support.

Best,
Sushi

Daff, how are you? Can you chat about all this? Could be the extra GcMAF (it is potent), or taking the two together. I can't handle them on the same day.

Best,
Sushi

I got mild side effects for the first month or two. Nothing very bad, just a dull headache on the 3rd and 4th days after injection. I took it as a good sign... at least it was having an effect on my body! I'm doing better on the GcMAF by the way too. A year in I am getting out a lot more, more energy, bad spells not as bad and not as long, clearer head. Patience Is a virtue :)

Ronan,

That's great that it is helping you! Are you still on it? For a year?

Thanks,
Nielk

I'm not Ronan, but quite a few are on it over a year and still improving.

Sushi

Hi Sushi,

Thanks, I didn't realize that people were staying on it for that long. Is it because if one goes off the effect goes away?

No, it is because we are still improving and our nagalase isn't perfect yet. I think we will follow with a maintenance dose. This is still very experimental and no one could have predicted how each of us would react, what dose would be best for us, how long we would need to take GcMAF etc. I can still notice improvement month by month. I don't crash much at all and if I do it is minor (i.e. I am still functional), and I recover quickly. My test results have improved a lot too.

I'm so happy to hear this Sushi. As you might remember, I have been contemplating taking it for a whiele already but, from posts of people who have had adverse effects and had to go off, It scared me. I can get it now from my doctor - Dr. Enlander. It's pretty expensive but if I feel I have a good chance to improve, I would definitely try it.

Yes, I remember. The difficulty is predicting who will respond. But it seems about 60% respond positively. It seems that some coinfections make the response more difficult. Hope that if you try it, you respond well. It can be bumpy for some to find the right dose and supporting protocol.

Best wishes with this,
Sushi

Hi Sushi,

Hi Nielk, I'm on Gc-Maf since May 2010, and still on it. I had a period of 3 months that I received it once a month, and since september 2011, I'm receiving it bi-weekly. The reason I'm receiving it less frequently is that I started to have a bad headache a few times after an injection. That has gone now.

What Sushi says is completely true, it's fully experimental and treating co-infections is very important, as is diet too. No need to say that it should be taken under supervision of an experienced doc.

Success!

OS.
