It's hard to get a consensus for pretty much any treatment for ME, since we all vary so much. One person might get a benefit from a specific dietary change, while another person gets worse on it. There could be two people who get a benefit from a specific diet, but by two totally different mechanisms. That's why it's so hard to get advice on ME treatments: there's no way to know in advance how they would work on a given individual.i haven't kept up with this thread but has there been a consensus about what brought the improvement?
It's been pretty much an evolving story. The most recent thing talked about is that eating food dry instead of wet improves digestion.i haven't kept up with this thread but has there been a consensus about what brought the improvement? (asking because i noticed the same is true for myself)
i also had a substantial improvement by changing my lunch from mostly frozen pizza to ramen, i made a thread about it here: https://forums.phoenixrising.me/threads/doing-better-wondering-why.93582/What foods or drinks have you found to worsen symptoms and have you found anything helpful?
maybe plant oils, usually sunflower and whatever else they put into it. industrialized "food" isnt worth the name. its actually candy with a lot of unhealthy ingredients.what's the exact reason for the improvement is still escaping me, whether it's saturated fats or carbs/sugar or additives/preservatives idk...
