My c4a was also very high.

So gc maf is very bad for me????? I never should have taken it from KDM ??

Hi Nabo

Have you been checked for all co-infections? (Bartonella, Babesia, Ehrlicha etc?). If these have been left untreated that could also explain your reaction...

No i am still waiting for some results, i know that i have high hhv 6 and mold infections.
i dont have Bartonella henselae, Borrelia burgdorferi,
Coxsiella burneti, Rickettsia conorii

the rest of the results arent ready yet.

Did KDM told you something about that??

Hi Nabo. KDM mentioned in his presentation that one can get ill from Gcmaf if you have co-infections that haven't been treated. 7 patients in "his" group had Babesia...

Leonora,
what does co-infections mean? is there a main infection or more, Gcmaf is supposed to treat but not those co-infections?
I don't understand what infections are "co-" what are not in this context.

cfs has immune system caos that let all latent virus activate in some cases, so you dont have one infection but many and not one pathogen but many
gcmaf repairs immune system and if it works immune system will go after those pathogenes but if you have too many you better treat or lower those infections first and then go for gcmaf

if there are too many infections and you awake immune system you may have too much inflammation.i am not expert on cfs and leonora will explain all this better for sure but the situation is about that

i am posting this in the GcMAF section since many of us are taking Nexavir along with GcMAF
______

Dec 2, 2011: Some of us were told by our pharmacies that they can no longer get Nexavir from their distributor. I was even told that that could be the end of Nexavir until a new company starts making it.

So I called the Nexco company that makes Nexavir (ph 713-896-4949) and talked to "Roger" who said they are still making and supplying Nexavir, but that they are not longer supplying it to CPS (Custom Prescription Shop), which was in turn distributing it to pharmacies around the country for them.

So now, when you want to get Nexavir, you have to have your pharmacy contact the manufacturer Nexco, directly. and they have to talk to Roger. He said the best way to do this is to have the pharmacy simply email him, Roger, at Nexco@NexcoPharma.com (I guess write "Attention Roger" in the subject line?), and he will supply it to your pharmacy. He said your pharmacy should still be able to get Medicare (or whatever your insurance that used to cover it), to still cover it.

Went to Brussels last week.. (still very tired, was a very long day!!)

I have to go back on gc maf... i really diddnt expected this.

I was on gc maf from dec 2010 till may 2011 and had so many side effects i was really sick.

And now i have to start again.. this time 25 nanogram. (in dec last year i was one of the first patients en we all started with 100 nanogram)
I really hope that this time it all goes better!!

But i am scared... my il 6 and tgf beta are high but still i have to start gc maf...

- question: last year on gc maf i had a lot of problems with histamine.. wat do you guys take??? Can i take cetrizine???

I had a very long consult with KDM, so more info later.
I also had to test a lot of things again so they had to take some blood.
It took them TWO HOURS!!! it just diddnt worked.. they coudnt find any arterie. (i dont know if this i a correct sentence)

Nabo,
at which lab did you have the Tgf beta test?

Regarding tgf-b, Scott Forsgren talks about it on his website. He's on Gcmaf and says he got tgf-b down by using Cholestyramine for six weeks together with some abx to treat his staph infection.

For histamine, a natural inhibitor is Quercetin.

I saw a video by Dr Yasko who suggested Resveratrol to help alleviate inflammation caused by GcMAF.
You may discuss this with your dr.

Nabo,

Might you start off lower? There are patients on 10ng/wk. I'm at 20. Also, I take benedryl the day of the inj and lots of quercitin; 900mg 4xday. I also am getting reservatrol in a menapause herbal formula. I had to get a cortisone shot for my shoulder and my lyme doc put me on minocycline...gut not liking it even with increased probiotics. Good luck!

I've been taking GcMAF for 6 weeks now. I started at .1 and have increased to .15 ml. I've had no negative symptoms, no inflammation.

I'm a bit improved. I'd say I'm usually about 30 on the Bell scale, and now I would say I'm closer to 35. I started walking a few blocks most days just because I felt like it. That wasn't something I was doing before and it would have been too much.

I had my nagalase tested before I started GcMAF and it was 2.4.

I'm almost at the end of my first vial and I haven't decided if I'm going to order more. My doctor told me to order it from www.bgli.nl. I'm concerned about the cost and shipping. I would really like to try the MAF 314.

I've changed a few other things during this time, so I can't be completely sure it's the GcMAF. It seems like it, though.

Hi,

30 to 35 in 6 weeks sounds pretty significant to me.

I checked out the website you posted. They stated 1 sample is 250 euros but they don't state what exactly yuo are getting. Do you know ?

thanks all for responding.

@ XRUNNER: It was tested at Redlabs Belgium. Is cetrizine not good?
Do you really have to take Quercetin??? I dont tollerate medication so good, so i rather take nothing. What can i do??
Or you only take it the day you get the injection?

I am now starting at 25 nanogram, last year 100.
And i have my gc maf from KDM 35 euros.

@ GRACENOTE Woooow!! just 1 nanogram??? haha , how do you even get that in a needle?? That is really low!
Very good that you are improving!

I may have the labels wrong. I divided the vial into 10 parts. My doctor suggested I start at 20mcg and go up to 40mcg, but instead I did 10mcgs and went up to 15mcg.

Hi gracenote,

I hope my memory serves correctly(and it may not so please take that into account, look further), if it does then when I ordered last from BGLI a vial consisted of three full doses, a whole dose equal to 100ngs. Things could have changed, perhaps they use larger vials, etc, this I don't know, but if it's the same as before then it looks like you've been taking 30 ngs per injection.

I'm completely confused by these different labels ng, ml, mcg and I no longer have my original vial.

I had my first injection at my doctor's office. His initial instructions were to start with 20mcg. I told him I wanted to start with 10 and he was okay with that. The nurse gave me an injection of .1ml and sent me home with 9 syringes to divide up the rest of the vial into 1ml doses.

I think this is part of the reason I haven't placed an order; it all confuses me. I have one more .15ml injection left to go and will see my doctor next week.

(Don't bother doing the math there is some missing GcMAF due to ineptness.)
