Yes, it is a shame. The Light & Love has dropped a bit on average. Four in my family are currently voting for the ME/FM Action Network but the numbers are still low - I think they only topped 200 once.

I finally got around to asking all my facebook friends to vote. Maybe ten or so were already voting daily. To contact the rest, I put together an event post with all the necessary information, and invited my 350+ friends who aren't voting to the event. I included a couple lines about WPI and what their work means to me, instructions on how to vote, and a link to the reminder event for them to join. I did an event because during Chase I messaged people individually, and that took a few days to do (and was exhausting). I got 150+ votes this way during Chase...hope this helps give us a bump!

Lets face it. Statistically The National ME/FM Action Network has no chance of winning (unless they get an astronomical amount of votes from NEW vote sources which is highly unlikely to say the least!)

Therfore, every vote taken away from WPI is a wasted and lost vote. This contest is far from being over and from what I've seen in the past few years of these online contests, nothing is what it seams untill the last day or two. It would be a shame if no money went to ANY M.E. organization because we got greedy and lost focus.

Bottom line: The writing is on the wall? The National ME/FM Action Network has NO chance of winning. Please give your votes to WPI. They are not locked in to winning this contest by any stretch of the imagination.

Don't let the past repeat itself because of our own ignorance and greed!



BTW, Thank you so much (You all know who you are) for counting the votes every day, helping disqualify cheating contestants and everyone who has helped spread the word and have gotten more votes for the cause.

Even though the WPI has a nice lead, we can't know what will happen. Remember how things changed in the last couple of days of the CHASE Community Giving. I think we should try to keep the voting up and even increase, if possible, until the last day of the contest. It's about 100'000$ and it would be a big shame if we don't get them. Voting is not very hard to do, so please continue to vote daily.

I think the votes might have been down yesterday at least partly because the problems with voting for a while.

Yes, and even if it gets harder to catch up for the National ME/FM Action Network as the contest progresses, we will then have one year time to prepare for the next one, it it doesn't work out this time. With 600 or 700 more voters we should be able to win in two regions.
