Maybe you should find a different doctor. MMA is far superior to serum B12, which misses many B12 deficiencies.

In the meantime, on a CBC, if MCV is over 94 or so, you might suspect B12 deficiency, although it could also be folate or B6.
I am in an extended crash approaching whitney level of illness. And I also already have doctors that are better than 90 percent of the ones ppl have z they know what me/cfs is and mcas and pots and eds and dont force exercise on me. but I know that's not good enough. IRS not simple for me to get a doctor though. A really good doctor who is me/cfs specialist and advocates for me is a rare privilege I currently dont have. I'm trying my best.

Cbcs normal except eosinophils high I think but that's been true for years

Bringing back bad memories just reading the words "nitrous oxide."
Not sure if the dentist screwed up or it was just my weird body but as little child the dentist gave me nitrous oxide to fill cavities and it was horrid. The dentist was visually going in and out and the sound of the drill going "Waaaa.....waaaah.....waaaaah." It was so awful. I cried out for my mum. Not sure what happened.

For future appointments he filled my teeth with no anesthetics at all.

the sound of the drill was pretty intense last week...I doubt wearing ear plugs would matter...add to list of crash causes.

thats so horrific. we were tortured in the 1950s 60s era....for sure.

Years later, my eight year old, and my husband took her and wasn't in the room: unforgivable.

Parents weren't allowed in the dental room.
And yes, that dentist was a sadist for sure.

Yes it's pretty bad.

As a child on too much nitrous oxide the noise was incredibly disorienting the way it faded in and out and in and out. Booble no like drugs.
