hey
@emmers it's great that you have a doctor who understands peptides!
I tried a lot here find some help, some recommendation to peptide-known doctor but without answers or personal messages.
It is a real pity, because here in my country there is no doctor with peptides experience...or better yet peptides for CFS patient.
Yes, looks like my doses was really big from start, same problem like you...
Now I'm trying to stabilize. I'm afraid of peptides without expert consultation now...
I think I overstimulated my immune system and maybe it worsened MCAS or the autoimmune response :-/
Hi there,
Sorry just noticed this now. That's a lot of powerful stuff to be trying at one time. Your idea of over stimulating your immune system sounds about right.
Can you somehow unwind all of this, and maybe go back to restarting one thing at a time?
From what I understand, thymus and alpha is supposed to kind of help an older thymus gland to make more T cells. could it be which T cells are being stimulated and what they're doing? Is it at all possible that they could be stimulating some T cell mediated autoimmune problem? I really don't know, just throwing some thoughts out there. Have you or your doctor tried communicating with whoever sold you the thymosin alpha? If you are interested, you can PM me and I will give you my doctors' information, perhaps your doctor can communicate with one of them..
Ask for Hooper z A, it supposedly has a similar effect to Mestinon, and that is to increase the acetylcholine that's available. I first learned about acetylcholine with my mother's Parkinson's, and saw her do some extremely strange things, hallucinations, etc., on an acetylcholine inhibitor. It gave me a great respect for acetylcholine, and too much or too little can really screw you up. I found Mestinon gave me very difficult intestinal symptoms, but the neostigmine and Huperzine A both help me without the bad symptoms. Neostigmine had about a 4-hour half-life, and I believe the Huperzinee has about a 12 or 13-hour half-life. I take 200 mg of Huperzine A, maybe you don't need that much, although that's the standard dose for Alzheimer's.
I also take phosphatidylcholine, and NT Factor, both of which can increase acetylcholine eventually. I know that my body needs all this, again maybe your body is not quite as needy.
Another area to look into might be calming the inflammasome. just a general concept, but you might look into the various things that can calm inflammation, like:
- Vitamin A, C, D, E
- NAC, glutathione
- Potassium, zinc
- Melatonin
- Curcumin, quercetin, nigella, baicalin, resveratrol, astragalus, andrographis, reishi, echinacea, goldenseal
Obviously this is a pretty long list, perhaps there's some combination of things that you really need, that would really benefit you.
Best wishes
