I do not have the skin symptom, but my virus did trigger gum recession (periodontitis). Periodontitis is linked to connective tissue degrading enzymes like MMP-9, which are made by the immune system.

A medical treatment for periodontitis is low-dose doxycycline (Periostat), which inhibits MMP-9 and other MMPs.

I also find that rubbing the supplement Q10 on my gums before bed, and several times a day, seems to make the gums more healthy within days. You can open a 200 mg capsule of Q10, and just rub say a quarter of the capsule on the gums. Q10 is known to improve gum health.

According to this website, those with the Chinese "HIV-like" virus may get inflammation of the gums (gingivitis) and bleeding gums, but no mention of receding gums.

I never had any gingivitis of my gums, only receding gums.

But the Chinese have the dry skin in the palms. Nobody with your virus have this symptom

I don't know if I have your virus or the hiv like but more probably the latter one because I have the loss of skin elasticity, some muscle loss and fat loss in the face. I don't know which the prognosis of this hiv like Chinese virus. How will be the future. Im in 4 years with this. Today I got the dry palms. Yesterday I was in the dentist because I felt that my teeth becomes more sensitive so he diognosticated me having the recuding gum

I am not in touch with anyone these days, but several years ago, when I did have some contact with some Chinese people (though my website https://chronicsorethroat.wordpress.com), most reported that the were 90% recovered after a year or two. Most people with the Chinese virus recover.

But severe chest pain and shortness of breath are symptoms of the Chinese HIV-like virus — symptoms are listed here.
