Hi
First of all I think all of us dont like to go to the dentist !
So our adrenaline starts pumping.
I thought my issues were from the pink colored mouth wash and not from the lidocaine shots .
Then I had a lidocaine injection for a trigger point shot in my back.
First I started haveing an out of body experience , then started vomiting uncontrolably , then severe drowsiness .

Important considerations
- Inform your doctor about any known allergies to medications, foods, or other substances before receiving a lidocaine injection.
- People with certain health conditions, like glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, heart problems, lung problems, or methemoglobinemia, are at increased risk of side effects.
- Be sure to discuss all prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking with your doctor or pharmacist.
- Temporary numbness and loss of movement (especially in the lower body with spinal injections) are expected side effects.
- Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any signs of a serious allergic reaction, methemoglobinemia, or LAST after a lidocaine injection, such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat, seizures, or changes in heart rhythm.
