What do you mean ?

I cannot stop songs in my head if I am doing nothing a random songs appears in my mind...

Oh goodness this can go in 2 directions, rarely it will happen on a emotional upswing (though I will burn out after a while and it'll turn into mental exhaustion) but most of the time when they get stuck it's just some random tiny segment of a song my brain will latch on to and repeat over and over again. Not even something I like, it just needs to be catchy and "loopable" then it will be used. What triggers it may be the same thing though because there's always an element of my brain struggling to hold itself together when it happens. When I'm actually feeling good there's no ear worms. I know when I had the one time in my life I hit the shores of severe that it was nearly constant despite me not even being able to enjoy music at all at the time.

Racing thoughts aren't easy to define, so how to deal with it is also going to be hard to define. What technique will work for one person won't work for another. As with all treatments for ME, you're likely to have to self-experiment to see what will work for you. I assume there are plenty of books and articles about how to calm minds, with lots of techniques you could try.

It's too bad that Google doesn't have a "find the one true answer" button, instead of listing a bunch of unhelpful sites.
