Thanks all for mentioning the biomat too. I'm confused about how people use them. Do they only work when the FIR slsment is switched on? Considering the risk of re-contamination if the sweat is not washed off after FIRs I don't really understand how people can use them for sleeping on all night.

Some of you mentioned they the biomat is a really nice feel good item. Can you say anything more specific about this?

Sushi, had you been using it prior to commencing GcMAF adn did you use it throughout MAF?
I wonder can FIR be used when there is inflammation in the body? My C4a had been normal before MAF and became elevated as if by helium balloon during and after MAF so I'm wondering if FIR could be beneficial - God know's I have plenty to detox.

Sorry you are having such a rough time.

I'll also respond about my biomat experiences. They are made considering chemical sensitivity use are all natural products except for a very small (looks like some kind of plastic) "window" that shows you all the ameythst. They also have an easily removable-for-washing-cotton pad on the top, but I use a cotton beach towel over and under me to absorb any sweat (I don't sweat a lot) and a natural down comforter on top of that to keep the heat in.

Even without the FIR part turned on, it gives off negative ions and has something built in to deal with any possible EMFs. I used to sleep on it, set on low FIR and, as Leela said, it felt very good (especially in the winter) but I decided that it was too hard to sleep on (because of the amethyst) so now I only use it for "therapy" and follow it immediately with a cool shower. When I slept on it, the heat setting was too low to cause sweating. There are about 8 heat settings.

It does help a great deal with aches and pains. Whether lab work would show that it is reducing C4a, I don't know. I think the main benefit for me is detox. Even after having a bad day, if I use the Biomat, the next day I will feel a lot better.

No, it is not a cure, but does help with symptoms.

I hope I'm not stating the obvious, but have you tried cholestyramine? It is anti-diarrheal and soaks up toxins like crazy. If you can't get a prescription for it, phytosterols do the same things, except more gently, and you can get them at any health food store.

Re outgassing the FIR blanket, the airing helps a bit. I aired mine and heated it empty to encourage/speed outgassing but if it helped it wasn't nearly enough. Infact my reaction to it deteriorated and after a few tries I stopped being able to sweat in it. (previously I was ok with sweating) But I didn't try the damp sheet trick. I did enjoy the sort of heat it gave which is why i persevered.

However, my MCS is much better than it used to be so I'll try again and let you know. 2 days ago someone wearing light aftershave sat in my front room, and though it whiffed a bit, 2 years ago I would've felt awful for days (if I'd have allowed it, which I wouldn't) So that's my current MCS perfume level, just as a guide. I'll try the blanket a few times and report back.

My new doctor wants me to order GcMAF immediately. That was a little bit ago. I used to be a healthcare professional and so always
try and do some self investigating. I have some ?'s that I am sure some of these have been answers...sorry
1.) I tried to to order it throuh Gcmaf.eu but had difficulty the first time. And had some unexpected unprofessionalism...which made me hesitant abt trying to order again from him. Has everyone who has bought this, bought from that sight? My LLMD will not order it for me but is asking all his patients to go on it.
2.) My doctor is a lyme specialist, but feels i have a huge viral component. I read studies regarding using kutapressin, well the new antiviral along w/ the Gc... with much success. Have you guys been treated in conjunction with this? I was thinking of asking my PCP to write me an order of the antiviral...cldnt hurt right?
3.) Is Dr. Yamamoto's Gcmaf different from the one being sold by gmcaf.eu... (Mr. Noakes). He said his is the highest assay available.

Thank you guys. Again, i am sure most of these ?'s have been answered. I was all on board until the bad paypal, delivery issue. Now I must say I am a little frightened of the businessman. I hope it doesnt reflect on his product because it's so promissing. ?

making gcmaf is not difficult chemically, the problem is to make active protein and assay its activity for every batch before using on patients, i think the second step is missing from other producers, dr ruggiero made a test to assay gcmaf activity by a type of mononuclear cells, dont remember the details but it is all published

you have the assayed made by professor ruggiero on gcmaf.eu website and pubmed comparing the 2 gcmaf
gcmaf.eu and yamamoto have the same potency, no other gcmaf source accepted to be assayed.
research on gcmaf is made by gcmaf.eu product by university of florence, professor ruggiero

there are no other reliable sources unless you become KDM patient and come and collect gcmaf in europe personally but KDM source looks like having more sides effects than gcmaf.eu and is not assayed indipendently

maf314 is another possible choice of having natural gcmaf and more potent than the injectable gcmaf but only available from cheneys clinc in US at a very high price.maf314 has been discovered by professor ruggiero and a team of scientists at florence university

BGLI.NL and an israel source are the other producers of gcmaf but none of this has been assayed or accepted to be assayed

before using gcmaf i did my own personal research also meeting many researchers personally, so if you ask me would you use gcmaf from unassayed sources, my answer is definitely no!but this is me and money is no issue at all for me, i want to be sure i am using the most potent one the cost doesnt matter for me

in the end we should take kdm gcmaf and bgli gcmaf to a university research site and pay for have them assayed, actually they should do this if there is nothing to be afraid of....
they might be the same as gcmaf.eu or might be less active, it could be plain water or a form of vitamin d as some here said.......unless gcmaf is assayed who can tell.

but if money is an issue i d go with kdm gcmaf first and if he is your doctor you have to follow his advice and rules

i have been so lucky to see personally the research on breast cancer cells in vitro and their change after the addition of gcmaf from gcmaf.eu within 48hrs from cancer cells to normal cells...so i perfectly know what i am using with gcmaf.eu and where it comes from

maf314 might be better source of gcmaf available and the most potent probably but for now it is not available in europe, i do wish KDM could use it here in europe, please ask him when you see him

If you are using Nagalase as a determination of GcMaf treatment use care in this assessment.
As I previously mentioned, ask for quality control tests that the lab has on file with an independent quality control for Nagalase. The tests are not a secret and should be available. The tests that we have seen were not reproducible.
We are continuing the injectable sterile GcMaf.

Just to clarify what I said. Dr Enlander's site http://www.enlander.com/treatment.html states that one part of his treatment is hepapressin or kutapressin aka Nexavir. So it would seem he uses either depending on availability.

i am also very interested in this but i dont understand how we can have this done.i will be there for nagalase test after 28 weeks gcmaf but what should we ask them for a perfect quality controlled result?

i tried redlabs in july as a double check but if you tell me they send to ELN how can we double check nagalase results?

I have had 4 GcMAF injections. Am currently on .20 dose. With an empty stomach I am still getting some queasiness. Also still have increased agitation and insomnia, but much less with the lower dose. I will reduce my vita D from 10,000 IU to 5,000 IU/day and see if I can get my calcium and vita D tested. I read about vita D toxicity and am concerned that perhaps the GcMAF is helping me absorb D. Other than that, my symptoms are similar to the usual herx. (I have me/cfs and chronic lyme).

My NK cell function is in the normal range, but my CD 57 HNK1 Panel (NK cell) test is low (common in lyme). It will be interesting to see if the CD 57 test is moved in a positive direction with the GcMAF. It is unfortunate that the CD 57 test is not covered by medicare.

Also after 1 injection, had a nagalase test done by Vitamin Diagnostics (forget new name) in NJ. I will post the results on the spreadsheet.

I have not had the C4a test done. Is the C4 complement test related to the C4a test? I have had complement testing done in the past. It seems that based on comments here that Quest may be better than LabCorp for the C4a.

Every 4 weeks, I have to get CBC, natural killer cell function and urea/creatinine bloodwork.

What is the current testing protocol for the various other provider's?

How often is vita D being checked?

i checked vit d25oh every 4-5 weeks wth creatinine and serum calcium.i am on 10000iu and cant lower dose or it goes down, on 10000iu it stays 50-60

Thanks Lobba. Wow I can't believe your D dropped that much while supplementing. Mine dropped a couple of points when I dropped down to 5,000 IU so I had increased back to 10,000. But now I'm just stopping D until I get tested. Feeling toxic and due for my 5th inj tom.
