Christa,

You said your dose was .25--.25 what--ml? Are you taking GcMAF from GcMAF.eu?
If it is from GcMAF.eu and it is .25 ml, that is a very high dose. GcMAF doses are measured in nanograms, so let us know how many nanograms you took. The products from GcMAF.eu and BGLI are very concentrated.
Curcumin helps some with inflammation--a couple of grams a day. Also anti-histamines help and a variety of other herbals.
Best wishes,
Sushi
It's from Dr. Enlander, and I believe it's ml. It goes up from there, to .5 and then 1 ml. Turmeric is curcumin, right? Dosage suggestion? I'm going to order online so if there are other herbal that help, please let me know. I had a few days of migraines but now I don't notice side affects. (have done one dose on Wed)

hi tyson. my doctor is a world gut expert. he says metametrix is the most advanced but there ARE no perfect tests out there right now, because this is so new. that is what he meant.

he also discouraged me from fecal transplants. my fog is so thick that i cannot remember why...he may have said that some people did poorly with them

look what a fool i am! i took 5 ng 2 weeks ago and had 2 better days, so i got greedy again and took 13 ng last week. now i am in a major flare again!!

Daffodil, hope you are feeling better.

I wanted to ask whether you got severe diarrhea again like you did on a former dose. GCMaf may be causing diarrhea in my case -- just really don't know for sure. In fact I have now been diagnosed with lymphocytic colitis ---where did that come from? I have it under control "most" of the time but it was terrible for awhile. The GI doctor prescribed Asacol (an antiinflammatory) for it. GI doctor says this colitis is chronic, but hopefully can go into remission. Too many problems!

After I noticed that diarrhea became worse day 1 and day 2 after dosing GcMaf, I decided to stop GcMaf for awhile. My doctor is sending me a small sample of KMaf (the homeopathic Maf) and I will try that in a couple weeks. I have also stopped Valtrex - I don't know if that is a good idea, but seems to help with the diarrhea.

hi alice. i had diarrhea and constipation, alternating, for several months while on GcMAF. and i also had a bout of EXTREME diarrhea once. i havent had these problems in a long while now.

i was told not to take an anti-inflammatory while on GcMAF...

you are probably aware of the theory that has been gaining momentum now.....that the gut flora is a key player in this disease. some think that EBV has some affect on the gut mucosa. how this all ties in, i have no idea.

my suggestion would be to have either the metametrix GI effects test or the one at diagnos-techs...or maybe even the one at Redlabs in Belgium (you may be able to send stool there). perhaps you have a bacterial overgrowth you can treat and this might help or resolve the colitis.

do you find that Valtrex helps you with the CFS symptoms? i have a prescription for Famvir but am debating whether to try it...i have been on high dose antivirals in the past for years but they didnt help. however, i have never tried them with GcMAF.

xoxo

so last week i took 7 ng of GcMAF and had 2 1/2 "better" days. not great, but a little better. i kind of crashed on the 5th day and slept about 19 hrs. i decided to take another 7 ng on the 6th day instead of waiting the full week.

i understand some are taking micro doses at shorter time intervals and just experimenting with frequency, so i thought i would try that too.

after all this time on GcMAF, all i can say is that the illness is tolerable. i have not had a burst of energy in a long time and do not feel too hopeful in ever getting a life back....its been over 20 yrs now.

sorry, just feeling depressed lately. wish there would be some news from the research front.

Not sure I understand...are you drawing a higher dose into the syringe and just injecting part of it? If you use the same needle again, it could be contaminated...?

If you have a syringe with 20 ng and decide you don't want to use that much, you can transfer some of it to another sterile syringe, then re-freeze it. Or, next time fill a bunch of them with 5 ng and then it is easier to "up" your dose, if you decide to.

So glad you are getting a taste of life!

I'm on week 2 of the injectable and beyond some headaches after the first dose (for a few days) I feel pretty good. Is it too soon to be hopeful? Sushi, how soon after starting did you feel improvement?

I noticed some improvement after 2 or 3 months, but a lot more improvement after 5 or 6.

Great! So good to hear.

Interesting (in light of some of the current discussions) that GcMAF affects infected B cells.
