Turns out I didn't / don't really need L-carnitine. I mostly just needed iodine to get my thryoid working, and now I have no serious energy complaints that make me in need of stimulating compounds

That's interesting.

I've just been reading Dr Brownstein's stuff on iodine. He reckons 96% of us are deficient, so I'll try it too.

Carnitine wakes me up at 2 or 3am and doesn’t let me get restful sleep but I feel good all day. Is there anything to take at night to ‘turn it off’ so to speak at night?
