Dealing with my SNP's

I'd like to add that my OAT showed 3.7 for 2-hydroxybutyric acid and I believe that this is an organic acid that is elevated when there is increased production of sulfur amino acids derived from homocysteine. So its odd that my urine sulphates are low.

I have my food allergies now halfway contained with one very dose antihistamine before bedtime.
Regardless of what I ate I had a reaction, gallstone, kidney and colon, a part of MTHFR.

Also; since you have 23andme, you may like to check your RAW DATA for "TRPM5" and compare ("sulfate-evoked ionic currents") your observation with the article: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/30134818/

I´m always glad when I can say "I'm fine on this one", but it is very seldom the case.

People with amalgams often have to do hundreds of rounds after their fillings are removed.

For chelation rounds, I started with literally a few milligrams at a time and you have to take it every three hours even through the night to prevent redistribution of mercury.

Good idea to take it every couple hours, I use cilantro this way. Unfortunately I have the fillings so I am a bit wary of using ALA. Do you think it would be safe? I am afraid ALA would chelate too much mercury and redistribute it, making it even worse.

Thanks for the reply.

Each round I increased the dosage incrementally until I stopped having mercury symptoms when I took it.

I did try ALA at 1mg and had severe symptoms, it seems what ever I try to do to detox the symptoms are so bad I have to stop because I cant work and or look after my family. I guess if I could lay up for a year it would be ok.

I did have one large amalgam for years and ate a lot of tuna in my early years as well.

I will try and get a super low dose ala though and start that as its not sulphur based so would bypass the CBS mechanism? I wanted to reduce my body burden first though as ALA can take mercury into the brain so not sure if I should do that.

A lot to consider.

Cilantro is a big no no on the cutler group because you don't know what dose your taking and the 'half life' is unknown

With ALA and DMPS/DMSA you know the half life and you take it on the half life (3 hours for ala 6? hours for DMPS) but I start to get redistribution symptoms earlier and take it slightly earlier.) Don't construe this as advice just information I have learned on my own journey.

I don't agree with Cutler here, cilantro has helped me a lot and it doesn't create side effects. Actually it is possible to make an exact dose and test the half life based on reaction, at least it worked for me. With other chelators I got only side effects, possibly because of amalgams.

From what I understand it's not safe until you have your amalgams removed by a knowledgeable dentist who understands the mercury issue.

Thanks, that's what I heard as well. I cannot remove them now so I can only use gentle chelation.

Interesting! Would love to hear more on your process here.

Interesting! Would love to hear more on your process here.

I used fresh leaves in hot water first, I don't remember how many grams was it per dose, but I tested which dose is good and which is too high, I lowered the dose when I had too much side effects. Then I switched to homemade tincture, I read that it would not work but it actually does work. I tested which dose is right the same way. I take it Cutler style, couple of times a day, no night doses though, I want to sleep without any interruptions. Couple days on, couple off. This works well but I don't think I move forward, I would have to remove amalgams first or improve with my CFS, so that the body would work more efficiently on its own, but it is also possible that heavy metal poisoning is the cause of CFS here.
