I dunno about that. My current sublingual is like $6! Quite a difference.
Per pill, maybe. Per *result*, NO! That's what I'm trying to tell you -- the oil is hugely more effective than sublinguals so you don't need as much. The quote I posted above said the oil is much more potent than the Seeking Health product. Before I found the oil I was taking 30-40mg/day of sublinguals, and still felt fairly crappy. Now I take roughly 5-10mg/day of oil, and I feel MUCH MUCH better.

@arewenearlythereyet said, the transdermal oil is documented (with animal testing) to deliver 80% of the B12 to your body. Sublinguals are generally 5% or less, depending on how carefully you use them. (Suck on a sublingual so it dissolves in 2 minutes and you won't get much of anything from it. Tuck it behind your lip where it dissolves slowly over 20-30 minutes and you get a LOT more.) So "1mg" from oil is a lot more effective than "1mg" from sublinguals. You won't need as many "mg" in oil as you do with sublinguals, and that's why I'm saying it may actually be cheaper. And there's a very good chance you'll feel better, which IMHO is worth paying more for.
As an example, I was using Country Life Methyl B12 5000mcg sublinguals. Those are about $14 for 60 lozenges. I was using 30mg/day or more, so 6-8 per day -- that's about $1.40 - $1.85 per day. And while it helped a lot, I still felt crappy. Meanwhile if you buy the oil 3x at a time, it's about $47/bottle or about $0.78/dose. 2 doses/day of the oil costs about as much as the 30-40mg/day of sublinguals I was taking, and it works MUCH better. You may not need as much B12 as I do, so you may be able to use less.
