this article discusses a soldier who had lead poisoning and it didn't turn up until they used x ray fluorescence to examine his bones. Looking at the literature, it seems like this is a good, fairly noninvasive way to look for heavy metal poisoniing. I also think I would trust it more than some of the chelation challenge methods naturopaths tend to use.

so, how to get a doctor to do this?
