Chest tightness, worse after drinking (and raw carrots)

I don't get any pain, only the pressure. I'll read up on Esophagitis, cheers.

Chest tightness, worse after drinking (and raw carrots)

Lately I've been getting an uncomfortable tightness in my chest that persists all day long and it gets worse when I drink. It doesn't matter what I drink, not even water from a purifier prevents my chest to feel tight afterwards so it shouldn't be due to allergies. Raw carrots make it even worse...

    Is this a methylation issue?

Steroid for my symptoms? I'd rather try to find the reason before going on steroids, but thanks for the suggestion. I see, it's just scary to potentially make it way worse. I was unaware that taurine is beneficial for the liver, I'll try it for that then at least.

    Is this a methylation issue?

May I ask why you supplement with 3g taurine daily? So you're not suffering from any symptoms like I've mentioned? Maybe it's due to something else for me. Thanks for taking the time to help me out.

    Is this a methylation issue?

Do you know if any symptoms can occur from being at 11? I've read that taurine is a good way to lower homocysteine, or would you recommend anything else?

    Is this a methylation issue?

My homocysteine is at 11 (<15 range) according to my latest blood test. Is this high enough to create issues?

Only coconut oil. Worked my way up gradually but probably too fast for my body.

    Is this a methylation issue?

Nothing out of the ordinary, no. I started a candida cleanse 1 month ago and I had to stop due to detox symptoms. I still haven't recovered in my stomach and it's been 2 weeks since I stopped the cleanse. I thought maybe the slow recovery could be due to low methylation and slow detoxing but I'm...

    Is this a methylation issue?

Thanks for replying. My doctor thinks it's all in my head and it's very frustrating. You're very knowledgeable caledonia, what do you think could be causing this very uncomfortable chest tightness if it's not due to the antihistamines? I don't care so much about the other symptoms.

    Is this a methylation issue?

Ok, thanks. So do I just wait it out? Or should I try to fix my acetylcholine levels somehow? Like with B12 as you mentioned.

    Is this a methylation issue?

Thanks again. So this is probably not a methylation problem then? It's getting harder to breathe each day which is very uncomfortable.

But I haven't taken any antihistamine lately. Thanks for replying btw.

    Is this a methylation issue?

A few months ago it felt a bit harder to breathe after taking a few antihistamines. Since then I've gotten more and more sensitive to lower doses and all types of medication, and since the last 2 days I get it without taking any medication at all (except digestive enzymes). I also have an...

Do you know if Seriphos affects serotonin? I didn't find any info. I'm extremely sensitive to anything that raises serotonin. I suffer from high cortisol symptoms and could really use some relief.

Hi. Did you find a way to lower your cortisol? I'm suffering from a very high afternoon level and I could use some tips. Thanks.

About a month ago I was diagnosed with Serotonin Syndrome...

An update if anyone's interested: Been getting increasingly susceptible to anything that raises serotonin, and now I've also developed a severe histamine intolerance, which hopefully is due to the different meds I've tested. Now I'm able to only eat overcooked potatoes and rice, and only 600...

My doctor won't take me seriously

No need to apologize, how could you possibly know? :) Did you get diagnosed at a physician or a specialist? What city? A few hours ago I took a pill of 25mg Hydroxyzine and got some reactions I never got when I used to take 100mg before - I'm currently suffering from some severe pharmaceutical...

My doctor won't take me seriously

Haven't received the diagnosis cfs from a doctor, I just expect I have it since all of the symptoms and the course of the disease fits my symptoms like a glove. If I'd say the word cfs to my doctor I think he'd just dismiss it and think of me as a hypocrite. It usually takes years to get that...

My doctor won't take me seriously

I think I will but I'm gonna have a meeting with the authority that pays sick people in less than a month and I need him for that at least - since he wrote the doctor's certificate - I'm pretty much forced to.

My doctor won't take me seriously

Thank you for replying. I would only do it to prove that there's something more wrong with me than just simply having anxiety. I would take even less than 1/4 if I were to do it, seeing as I still haven't recovered from the previous one by any stretch of the imagination. I have way less anxiety...

My doctor won't take me seriously

About 5 weeks ago I got serotonin syndrome. I took 5mg of Escitalopram for a couple of days, and on the 4th day I added 12.5ml of flaxseed oil to the diet and got a mild case of serotonin syndrome and I still haven't recovered from it fully - some muscle spasms and numb feelings. I'm also...

About a month ago I was diagnosed with Serotonin Syndrome...

albeit a mild case. I still can't eat any food with more than a little tryptophan in it or the symptoms get worse. The symptoms improved once I quit the medications and started eating rice, butter and vegetables, and when I had just a bit of millet earlier today I got worse almost immediately...

While recovering from surgery fatigue I got SS

Before the serotonin syndrome I used to meditate and relax a lot and I felt that it started to help with the fatigue, but it's literally impossible atm due to the anxiety from the serotonin syndrome. As soon as it gets better I'll start meditating again. I like to watch TV shows but it's pretty...

While recovering from surgery fatigue I got SS

2,5 weeks ago I had surgery and was anesthetized for about 2 hours. Been feeling extremely fatigued since then. 2 days ago I got serotonin syndrome from my Lexapro and flaxseed oil and now I'm even more tired. I still experience some anxiety and especially when I eat, even though I eat a diet...
