I saw her when she was on "dancing with the stars". As I remember she was one of the best dancers there.
I was mostly bedridden for several years. I accepted that was my lot in life until I realized that there had to be a way out and to get better.
That started my journey of determination, 12 years ago, that continues today.
The difference is today I do 5-6 hours a day of physical activity, sing karaoke with a machine I have an for an hour at a time 2-3 times a week.
Sleep only about 8 hours a night, instead of 12-14 and rarely need a nap. Go out for a 1/2 mile walk 2-3 times a week, cook 3 meals a day, etc. Best of all I continue to slowly improve.
What an incredible story she has!!
Truly, the moral of the story is, as you say, "never, ever give up"!!
