It probably depends a lot on your budget. My understanding is that the Yasko test is extremely expensive. You might be better off doing the 23 and Me test and then using the money saved to do the methylation pathways panel and/or NutrEval to see what's actually going on in your body.

Do you want the genetic test or a functional test of your methylation status? Health Diagnostics does the functional test for a bit over $300. That is the one that I used.

im not sure what the difference is, should you have both or ones enough?

It depends on what you want to find out! :) One tells you genetic predispositions, the other tells you the current actual state of methylation.
