Saw this article, i'm seriously thinking of buying it

I bought one of these at the end of last year. It has a shorter 'neck' than the image you've posted, but it's been seriously so great for watching stuff in bed (and for changing my sheets etc because I have less stuff to move around).

I also use it to loop tablet, phone and laptop charger cables over it so they're easy to access. Very pleased with my purchase.

These posts inspired me to get my own gooseneck phone holder. It also includes a handy wireless (qi) charging feature. I only wish the gooseneck is longer so it reaches my line of sight staright on.

I have a phone one of these.
the only issue I've had is that the neck of it isn't that strong, so it slouched with a heavy phone or tablet in it

I had that happen to me. Was able to get the item replaced under warranty. I now am careful about twisting the neck too often. I also vary where I bend the neck.
