Thiamine HCL at high doses looks promising for lactic acidosis, and is used in conditions like pyruvate dehydrogenase complex deficiency that result in dangerous, even fatal lactic acidosis, with some success, iirc. There's lots of research on it but I don't have the energy to grab it rn, run thru google scholar or pubmed.
