Another diagnosed PMLE sufferer... I have been trying to go tanning once a month this winter to keep my skin hardened against rash.

@Ravn and anyone else that needs treatment, I have a thread here somewhere... My favorite is shirudo lotion.

When I first collapsed w/ ME, I had terrible sun sensitivity, could not tolerate it on my skin at all. 8 years later, when I added supps for pyroluria, (one of the symptoms is sun sensitivity) it disappeared. Within 5 days I could tolerate the sun. I find now that sitting in the sun is very depleting, but I no longer react to it as I had. good luck.
