Methylation test. Why homocysteine is not enough ?

Hi,

I don't find post where Rich (maybe) explayned that Homocysteine blood test could fail in indicating methylation status. For example if I test Homocysteine that is good (example 7 value) and SAME (S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine) that has a low blood value...what could be the cause ?
