methylation, easy protocol...

so, ive posted in GENERAL TREATMENT a complete history, so here i will make 2 supposedly easy questions.

https://forums.phoenixrising.me/ind...stamine-and-paradojic-fx-of-s-ame-help.60878/

1.
if methylation depends on b12, folates, b6 , cbs , and s-ame , and my worst issue is histamine intolerance, not caused by DAO , why s-AME which shoul gives the methyl group to HNMT to methylate histamine makes me feel really sick?

2.
since the only methylation supps i can take is mb12 and TMG, i clearly should change it.
methylation need methylfolate, and im MTHFR C677 hetero , should i wait until my actual folates get depleted (from food source etc) and the try again methylfolate? methylfolate is very bad for me, when i tried i felt really bad, like steps back.

as well histamine methylation needs methylfolate to be done, so...maybe i need it?
thats a 100% needed supplementing when usin mb12?

im on mb12 and feeling great for 1 year, averytime i tried to add a new thing i crashed, b2, tmg are the only new friends i were able to take.

im researching about methylation for more than 3 years but i still cant connect 100% the points..
my body reacts so bad to almost all

My personal opinion is that methylation is hyped in terms of it being the all and secondly that you just follow a formula and presto. And this is not to say that methylation is not important.

In terms of ME, there is stress in the body and where there is stress then biochemistry changes. How each person reacts to that stress is an individual thing IMO. In biochemistry, there are a plethora of functions that occur and like flying an airplane, they need to coordinate.

B vitamins cover a good amount of ground and when you push on one, then others are likely to be disturbed, for instance if you push on B12, you may be depleting B6. You will also find this with minerals and amino acids. The only way I found is to experiment with the combinations, my body likes B2 and B6 and some TMG, but I fill in the missing b vitamins with a balanced b complex. When my body begins to tilt, I know I need to adjust something.

Proper mineralization is overlooked and plays an important role in biochemistry.

Here is a wheel for vitamins as well as other things such as endocrine and minerals. I am not sure how accurate the diagrams are meant to be but it does show the complex relationships that can occur.

Tnx for your reply!

Yes,in fact the oxidative stress os my main problem, but fue to methylation.

I have a complete cascade of detox/redox issues but the second, methylation , is messing more than others.

I'm taking really small doses of a DIY b's multivit , and increasing. I've eliminated the b'S Which caused me bad reactions.

I need to add for sure folate at some point, but afraid to do it..everytime I tried I got sick.

Will start for 1/25 part of typical dose and will increase sloooow.

The minerals are a big issue in me, but I cant handle iodine, it gives histamine reactions..so I have to make a multimineral done by me without iodine.

Will check your link

Tnx!

I don't know if this helps, but my sone can't take SAMe either - it makes my son very, very tired. LCF does this too.

All he can manage on the methylation front is B12, folinic acid+B2 (and some methylfolate), with potassium when he feels really terrible. Freddd suggested that if we can't do SAMe then we should try TMG as it uses a different pathway, but I haven't tried that yet.

(PS We also use a lot of herbs for an infection and some supps to increase choline - but your question was about methylation)

Well...TMG works in another way, it metabolizes the homocisteine via CBS

As for the folates..well, even knowing the supposed mathematics of methylation it makes me feel so bad.

Supposedly I should need methylfolate to do a correct methylation and for helps the histamine methylation, but...

I will try the smallest dose possible, increasing to see how much I can handle.

I would appreciate so much if someone can explain me where I m lost un my methylation status.

Tnx
