Both of these are now on my list of supplements/ products to Google. Do you know if there is a Curcumin gel (transdermal for skin) or if it only comes in oral supplement form? I think I asked this in another thread today but am now not sure which one?! I am also very interested to try some kind of CBD oil on my neck to see if it helps (from hemp, not THC like you mentioned).

I haven't heard of a curcumin topical, though I haven't looked specifically for one. (Let me know if you find one - I'd be interested in trying it!) For a long time, I bought my own organic high quality turmeric & boswellia and put them in capsules myself (to save money and get a quality product). I didn't notice much of a difference. One of my docs mentioned the "Terry's Naturals" brand tended to work better. I gave it a try expecting nothing, but it did seem to objectively work better. If you try it, I'd suggest going right to the website the first buy - https://www.terrynaturallyvitamins.com/curamin-extra-strength/ - if it doesn't work, the manufacturer offers a no-hassle refund if bought directly from there, and friends have tried and returned it with no problem when it didn't work for them.

The CBD salve is not THC; hemp products have no THC and this is a hemp product. :) The company kindly sent me 2 samples before buying, the 400mg (which didn't work very well for me) and the 800mg (which worked a level better than OTC Icy Hot, if I had to compare). https://nachercbd.com/collections/deep-tissue-salve

I don't know of any where you live, though someone doesn't have to belong to NUCCA to specialize in upper cervical issues. nucca.org does have a search feature for chiros who belong to NUCCA. I also think sometimes the term "nucca" is used to describe chiros who specialize in upper cervical issues, whether or not they belong to that organization.

I believe you're right - I asked a chiropractor about this a while ago, and he said NUCCA is a specific subcategory of upper cervical chiropractic, and that there are several subcategories of upper cervical chiropractic in addition to NUCCA.

I learned from another thread that there is a curcumin topical gel and I thought I wrote it on my list of things to Google but don't see it. I will find it and get back to you.

Edit: It is by "Neuro Biologix" and is a topical cream (but I have not researched it yet or tried it).

Thanks and I do have this one on my list.

Thank you for this info as well. I don't use Icy Hot but I do use "Salonpas" pain patches. If you have ever tried Salonpas, would you say that the 800 mcg CBD oil works better than them?

Alas, I've never tried the Salonpas pain patches. But you could request a sample to try before you buy. Nacher's customer service was easy to work with, and they kindly paid shipping so the sample was completely free.

I have a TENS unit and really love it for deep achey pain in my shoulders or glutes and walk around with electrodes sticking out like a bionic woman.

I had horrible experiences in the past with two different osteopaths. I had an excellent PT but she moved away. I had an okay/decent chiropractor but my ex-husband and I often saw him together, and I am not comfortable seeing him now. I do have a TENS unit at home that I might try when I feel a little better (that was from my former chiropractor).

I bought a TENS machine and highly recommend it for pain.
I use it on my spine or my muscles or my tendons, wherever it hurts..ans it works!
Even on my neuropathic pains in my lower back/pelvis.
My only problem is that i have to share it...with my husband, who use it for pains and muscle stimulations!
