I'm interested in this topic and how it could be legitimately explained.I'm not saying that grounding can't possibly have an effect on human bodies. I'm just saying that basic physics says that it won't be by changing the number of electrons in the body or by involving themselves in chemical reactions in the body.
So I asked in a group on earthing how one can assimilate electrons through grounding and was told "Grounding is NOT an electron flow but a charge transfer." I was told to read more but the indicated material was a dead end. Someone agreed with the charge transfer idea and told me:
"Instead, I view grounding more as a charge transfer. And what matters is that the results can be measured (e.g. body voltage, blood pressure, sleep quality, etc), regardless of whether "electrons" are involved or not."
Note I had already mentioned that surface body voltage does not indicate what's happening on a cellular level, so body voltage readings are not evidence alone.
Another person, a doctor, posted a long seemingly AI generated answer with this as its conclusion
While studies have demonstrated changes in body surface voltage and localized effects of grounding, no direct, detailed mechanism has been identified that tracks the flow of free electrons from the skin into cellular or systemic processes. The effects observed might be due to changes in electric fields around the body rather than direct electron flow into deeper tissues.
6. Electrical Phenomena
• The Earth’s surface has a negative charge. When you make contact with it, a potential difference is established. Free electrons from the Earth flow to areas of higher potential (e.g., a positively charged body), equilibrating surface charges.
Electrons from the Earth’s surface can theoretically enter the body via conductive skin pathways, but the detailed biological process remains speculative. Most explanations focus on changes in body surface voltage and potential indirect effects on cellular processes. Rigorous scientific research is still needed to clarify these mechanisms.
So it might be from changes in electric fields around the body rather than electron flow. Wonder if that would explain it.
