Well nothing at all came from the appointment.....it's either I have Mercury, mold or Lyme toxicity it has to be one of those since all my lab ranges are always normal. Don't really know what to do, no money to get testing out of pocket, symptoms keep changing and getting worse, No point of living anymore this isn't worth the pain and suffering

I'm unable to read this entire thread but feeling depressed and suicidal is about lost hope. If you can find hope you will feel emotionally better. Right now Dr Davis is working full tilt at figuring out what we have, and once we can test for what is wrong with us then your tests will not show normal.
For example i read a book years ago about counterfeit products from China and it said you can't run a panel on a product and say look for anything bad, such a test does not exist, you can only test for what adulterants you expect to find. If they invent something novel the tests will show nothing
Human tests are about the same, if you don't know what to test for and such a test does not yet exist then you can't measure the problem. This leads to the Streetlight effect
We all understand that this disease sucks, and we are all here to help any way we can, please don't give up. The future is not written yet and we can fight to make it a brighter one.

And besides testing I hope they will be able to treat this disease better in the future. That is where I try to feel hopeful!

@Konflict I know another patient with similar symptoms who was first mis-diagnosed with ME/CFS. Turns out they had myopathy. Have any of your doctors done a muscle biopsy or prescribed Prednisone, which was helpful to this person?

No I haven't done a biopsy on my muscles (or anywhere else) yet, but I think my muscle is ok I haven't really lost any muscle, in fact I've probably put a little on since January doing absolutely NOTHING.

Not sure what people's feelings feelings are on heavy metal toxicity, mold and Lyme, but I feel most of probably have some combination of these. I am metals toxic according to Andy Cutler

http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/HOW_TO_hair_test.html

Also I have been exposed to mold for a few years, and have been bitten by a lot of mosquitoes where I live (close to Oakland/San Francisco). So I probably have some mold infections in me and possibly Lyme, don't trust a Lyme test as there's no real conclusive way to determine if you have it.

I've also been on antibiotics a lot of my teen life and early adult life (severe acne, was on minocyclin) and probably made my gut the perfect place for parasites to take over. I just feel I'm done and have no shot at recovery. I mean I was living just fine albeit with side effects for 6 years, but now I'm hardly functional because of the instability of feeling in weakness with my joints..,spine cracks at least 3-4 times when I get out of bed or up from couch, and that's not mentioning the pains and cracking I get from all other joints. when I bend my knee it pops going inward as well as outward, and heirs when I put too much pressure on it.....I walk like Frankenstein a lot.

Have you looked into glycine?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glycine#Biosynthesis
Biosynthesis
Glycine is not essential to the human diet, as it is biosynthesized in the body from the amino acid serine, which is in turn derived from 3-phosphoglycerate, but the metabolic capacity for glycine biosynthesis does not satisfy the need for collagen synthesis.[15] In most organisms, the enzyme serine hydroxymethyltransferase catalyses this transformation via the cofactor pyridoxal phosphate:[16]
serine + tetrahydrofolate → glycine + N5,N10-Methylene tetrahydrofolate + H2O
In the liver of vertebrates, glycine synthesis is catalyzed by glycine synthase (also called glycine cleavage enzyme). This conversion is readily reversible:[16]

CO2 + NH+
4 + N5,N10-Methylene tetrahydrofolate + NADH + H+ → Glycine + tetrahydrofolate + NAD+
Glycine is coded by codons GGU, GGC, GGA and GGG. Most proteins incorporate only small quantities of glycine. A notable exception is collagen, which contains about 35% glycine.[16][17]

Degradation
Glycine is degraded via three pathways. The predominant pathway in animals and plants involves the glycine cleavage enzyme:[16]
Glycine + tetrahydrofolate + NAD+ → CO2 + NH+
4 + N5,N10-Methylene tetrahydrofolate + NADH + H+
In the second pathway, glycine is degraded in two steps. The first step is the reverse of glycine biosynthesis from serine with serine hydroxymethyl transferase. Serine is then converted to pyruvate by serine dehydratase.[16]

In the third pathway of glycine degradation, glycine is converted to glyoxylate by D-amino acid oxidase. Glyoxylate is then oxidized by hepatic lactate dehydrogenase to oxalate in an NAD+-dependent reaction.[16]

The half-life of glycine and its elimination from the body varies significantly based on dose. In one study, the half-life was between 0.5 and 4.0 hours. [18]

Physiological function
The principal function of glycine is as a precursor to proteins, such as its periodically repeated role in the formation of the collagen helix in conjunction with hydroxyproline. It is also a building block for numerous natural products.
Its supplementation might not be straightforward as it may seem... I can't take it without triggering gout... But I am finding huge benefits from taking a supplement of Glucosamine Hyaluronic Acid Chondroitin MSM - it contains a small amount of hyaluronic acid (made of glycine D-Glucuronic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine) which combined with the other ingredients is well accepted by my body.

Hey @Gondwanaland I have tried glycine before, there was a good amount of it in my collagen supplement I was taking back in January.

I know I'm dead for sure....this is some huge autoimmune fuck up I have. I have caught 2 colds since June and both times my symptoms get substantially worse and do not return to previous baseline.

Every single supplement I've tried (besides a select few) gives me some sort of immune reaction ....garlic, vitamin D, K2, even the infrared sauna made me worse by far. I'm currently taking aloe Vera liquid, glucosamine, vitamin C, Culturelle, and bone broth and zero improvements in 2 months taking these everyday. My digestion had gotten somwhwt better with the probiotic, but I caught a cold beginning of August (it's been hot too wtf) and it made me have yellow stools for a week and all my stool is floating now.

I discovered I have crimson crescents in the back of my throats which is immune activation....so my body just loves to keep attacking itself for some reason. Been eating gluten free and no improvements. my gum lines continue to recede, my joints continue to have subluxations fairly easy, I have acne that won't go away (don't really care but it's a symptom), have gained 45 lbs since January without caloric excess, nails and hair still grow slowly, more white hairs than I had before, tendinitis pains, very thin skin, slow healing cuts and scrapes......I really don't know what to do.

I beleive I fucked Up my gut as a teen/young adult taking minocylene and Benadryl everyday, and that's a HORRIBLE combo to take together as it basically shuts off ur immune system. Took saw palmetto and finasteride in 2010 when I was 23 and it triggered this auto immune response and side effects. Managed ok with those original symptoms until January this year when I took methylated B vitamins (poison..especially the methylfolate) and K2 which caused a huge trigger and i havent been able to recover not one step forward in any regard to where I was previous to January.

I men's everyone's gotta die, and i no doubt induced my own death.....that's the saddest part, that I did this to myself. Its 2017 and the medical field can't even figure this shit out? I think they already have had cures for this stuff, but it's just they don't want cures. Been tested for Lyme, autoimmune disease, heavy metals, have had X-rays and soft tissue imaging and an echocardiogram, seen a geneticist and NO ONE can give me any damn clue about this.

I believe being in the mold and taking certain supplements triggers all this, and now I'm possibly infected with mycoplasma parasites. If I take antibiotics it fucks up my immune system even more, if I don't the mycoplasma gets worse.....I'm literally cutting myself on a double edge sword here.

I am so sorry to hear that...
Just random thought that coul be useful or not:
Mold = destroys B1
I want to heal receeding gums as well, so far I found some random clues in glycine, copper, lysine (can't supplement with neither one)
Right now I am looking into Bacillus subtillis, haven't found it to buy locally
slow healing cuts and scrapes
This Molecule Found in Royal Jelly Is The Secret Ingredient to Speed Up Wound Healing

I see the risk of adding more supplements to your situation though :(

@Konflict have you looked into mast cell disease? (MCAS/MCAD) Many of your symptoms that you describe in your last post sound very similar. If I remember right, you are in California. Maybe there is a specialist near you?

I wish you the best of luck in finding help.

Prednisone? If your immune system is so mad get it calmed.

Has anyone here been tested for mycotoxins???

I believe that's what the red marks are in the back of my throat, aka the crimson crescents? Idk if Prednisone and LDN will be effective, don't really want to self medicate anymore AT ALL I think a lot of us just experiment on ourselves and make things worse as evident as most people here not improving and staying sick long term.

Re you on any prescription drugs? Have you taken a flouroquinilone antibiiotic recently? If you answered yes to either of these it might be time to consider getting off drugs. They do considerable damage.

No, haven't taken a drugs that will cause one to get floxed.....I believe this is more mycotoxin related due to being in mold for years and setting off triggers with methyl B vitamins and other supplements subsequently one after the other.

I'm new to these boards and this forum and, granted, I didn't read through every reply to your post... But, is it breaking with protocol or decorum to encourage you not to take your life? I see lots of recommendations for tests, and vitamins, and a whole lotta acronyms, but I don't see anyone telling you that your life has value, even if pain and despair make that difficult to appreciate. It's just your perception right now, seen through a lense of frustration and lost hope. But, perception doesn't change reality. Your life has value, meaning, and purpose. With life there's always hope for something better.

Talk this through, even if it's just on a forum such as this. Some of us care that you stay alive. And, I bet your mother would cosign that idea, too.

Hello Konflict, I would like to help, I share our experience with long lasting Minocycline treatment as a teen, and nothing showing up in the blood tests ever...
Minocycline toxicity over mitochondria is suspected, and Minocycline select for lactic acid bacterias in the gut...

You may have issue with blood lactates, do you tried High dose Benfothiamine?

If you still take antibiotics, Benfothiamine may be really helpful. Keep us update

I pinned down my wobbly joints to Molybdenum deficiency. I think it makes sense that too much Folate could deplete Moly since both are closely related to purine metabolism.

However to raise Moly is tricky for me because it seems to trigger an increased need for B1 instantly (fatigue).

I was very surprised to find supplements of chondroitin+glucosamine+Moly, and glutathione+B2+Moly.

For 10 weeks now since I've crashed I've been having debilitating symptoms that have kept me totally housebound. No doctors know what's going on or how to treat this, most just think it's in my head and I'm having a hard time having them give me any more tests. I'm a 30 year old male.

I was taking vitamin E mixed tocopherols as well as an active B complex with folate, p5p and methylcobalimin. Had a minor crash but bounced back. 3 weeks later I started using vitamin K2 mk7 and 2 weeks after that I had a major crash causing severe physical symptoms.....the worst of which is connective tissue deterioration in my joints, tendons, ligaments and nerves. It's causing me joint hypermobility when before my joints were stiff as a kadaver. My spine is as loose as a pregnant woman's and even my jaw and chest bone are cracking. This is all accompanied with pain. I'm also experiencing IBS/constipation, excessive urination, dry eyes and mouth, severe insomnia, brain fog, depression, slow growing hair and nails.

Now I know many of you will say it's the active B vitamins that did this, but I crashed 5 weeks after discontinued use of them...I believe the new issue is hormonal receptor insensitivity, but I cannot prove this. I say this because I have low estrogen symptoms system wide. Most the above symptoms are due to low E, and I also have many androgenic symptoms such as increased strong body odor, lots of new acne, fat loss, skin tightening, disappeared gyno.

I can hardly hold up my iPad and talk without the tendons in my hands burning, and when I straighten my elbows the weakly crack several times. This has rapidly spread in just 10 weeks and I feel alone in all this....that I'll never find a cure or help for this. I really don't know what to do. All the tests I've done show "normal" hormonal levels but are all on the lower end (down regulation). Lyme and lupus tests were negaitive. In the past I have taken saw palmetto and finasteride which can cause gaba AR dysfunction, but no doctors believe finasteride can cause long Term side effects (big pharma telling them most likely).

I believe I have a sudden onset of osteoarthritis as the connective joints in my back are corroding, I now have pinched nerves in my back but I have done ZERO strenuous bending nor lifting at all.....most of my day is spent on the couch or in bed. My back is in such pain I can hardly move, just sitting is uncomfortable and have to fidget every minute or so just to lower the pain, I can't sleep a wink even with benzos or ambiens....I'm at my ends wit. I really don't think I can go on living like this without a doctor looking into anything or trying to treat this. I'm really on the verge of doing something i don't want to do, but I'm in total pain from the connective tissue weakness. Just now I took a deep breath and my back cracked 3 times....I don't think I can take anymore.
I have felt like this the past year. Sounds like you are dumping copper. I crashed after taking trans dermal B vits. I was almost well before that. Now I can not tolerate any supplement.
