UMDF members in the state of Utah are encouraged to contact their state representatives to ask them to support or co-sponsor HJR 35. HJR 35 will establish a mitochondrial disease awareness week in the state of Utah. HJR 35 was successfully introduced by Rep. Kenneth W. Sumsion at the request of Utah UMDF Member Marie Nuccitelli.
