Interesting to see this old thread being revisited. I recall a great deal of controversy in those days: people not wanting to think EDS was an important clue in the ME/CFS mystery. While it's certainly not THE answer, it seems to me to have become much more prominent as a risk factor. I'd forgotten that @Jonathan Edwards (who I believe has left this forum for good?) had dismissed hEDS as a disease. Times change!
