Does R-lipolic Acid mobilize mercury?

I am investigating a Mitochondrial Energy Optimizer supplement that contains:

R-Lipoic Acid (as microencapsulated Bio-Enhanced® stabilized Na-RALA sodium R-lipoate)

Does this work exactly like ALA in that it stirs up mercury? It is dangerous or unwise to take twice per day, as recommended by the supplement makers?

I am not an expert but as far as I can read the documented chelating effects are all about ALA.
RLA is not much talked about, besides the anti-oxidant effects.

I would expect it to move the mercury around, but to which degree? I have no idea.
