Also wondering if anyone has had any success with improving symptoms by reducing supposed acidosis?

I think the best thing I can do is recommend this thread, where there is lots of discussion on leaky-gut diets and supplements, and I detail my own regime and results, as do others. The treatments for leaky gut are essentially the same as for presumed acidosis.

I find your bicarbonate soda experiment quite interesting. I will take a teaspoon in water today and monitor my symptoms.
