It is almost impossible to get diagnosed where I live. Would be great if WGS would be a good way to rule out CTD?

Anyone identified connective tissue disease through whole genome sequencing?

Connective tissue disease is a very large umbrella of conditions, including a host of autoimmune diseases. From another post, I gather you may be interested in Ehlers-Danlos? This may answer your question:

Hi @ChookityPop....@Shanti1 gave you a good address, but somewhere on this Forum someone mentioned that certain types (probably both parents) can genetically pass on porphyria. I don't know if the test Shanti mentioned would include that, but it's certainly worth mentioning. Good luck. Yours, Lenora.
