My rheumatologist prescribed me as-needed nortriptyline (10mg) for my migraine-like headaches, and a daily supplement ALA (Alpha lipoic acid, 200mg daily).

Anyone every tried these? Any good or bad to share?

R-ALA I still take, its part of Liesk's protocol and it helps with the fatigue and headaches. Nortriptyline treats nerve pain and they trialed a small dose of that on me once I was about 2 years in. I had no positive or negative aspects to it, it didn't help with the pain I was in but I also didn't react to it in any way. Pain management I think is meant to then up the dose to see if they can find a dose that works but mine discharged me. Hope you have more luck with it.
