A idea for those who suffer from new smelly stuff and clothes

Fabric softeners are avoided.
Those are used to discourage rodents from hanging out too long under the hood of the car, or in the mountain cabin I used to reside in. I won't even touch one, but we would bring back used one's from the laundry Matt and the rodents don't like it.

Also useful are bars of Irish 'Spring Soap. I'd put them under the hood. I had to replace the entire AC system once.

That humans use Irish Spring soap, or toss Fabric sheets into their clothes driers, is a Confoundment.

So when recalled, they replace the melted visors with new visors which also melt.
Its disconcerting, when driving, to have one's visors falling down, reducing windshield square footage visibility.
Oh! Yes, that sudden unplanned reduction in field of view would be an issue.
Summer can get plenty warm here in central Missouri,
But we are a fair number of degrees latitude north of y'all.
And latitudes matter.

https://www.cbsnews.com/colorado/news/rabbits-causing-damage-to-parked-cars-near-dia/

Pilot Robert Favuzza said he didn't think much of it when he came home from four days of flying and spotted "a couple of bunnies" near his car in the employee parking lot. When he tried to back out of his parking spot, warning lights flashed and his Volkswagen wouldn't drive in reverse.

"You come home and you are totally shocked this happened," he said he took the car to a mechanic who told him rabbits chewed the wiring harness for his transmission.

Favuzza isn't alone. Matt Hernandez at Tilden Car Care says he's fixed rabbit damage from customers' cars parked near the airport and also on his personal car. He says soy-based wiring, often found in German cars, is attractive to rodents.

"It's like a nice big juicy steak for a field mouse or rabbit," he said.

Still have the something like $175 worth of those nice artist type colored pencils.
It's not like they are going to go sour like milk and bananas do.
They will keep just fine for multiple decades.
I"ve never been a colored Pencils person.

I was pretty artistic. But never would I use pencils.

So why do I have, oh EIGHT sets in various places of mostly intact collections of colored pencils?

I was given quite a few art supplies, and that woman had 4 sets she gave me.

Behind my book case is a huge wooden box somebody gave me: full of pencils, pens, inks.

Yet I can't find a pen to Make Note Of this or that. On whatever random page, in a random notebook, I"m currently Making Note Of, in. Later, I'll wonder where I made that note. And if I read a note, I'll wonder why I made the notation.

Seriously: I need a set of water color colored pencils. I saw somebody using those with sand paper. So the eight sets I have, well they are not good enough. The water color kind: you add water later. To create unique effects. Artistic people do that.

I should check Amazon.

the visors did not melt when they resided in Santa Cruz CA near a beach.

But 15 miles further inland and 240 miles further south- melt.

(Why do the visors melt? because they include magnifying mirrors for putting on your makeup while driving and have special lights and all kinds of weird strange plastic is living in side the visor itself). Once it melts, it won't stay "undeployed" aka Up.

Because of my own neurological and musculoskeletal troubles with my hands I'm not sure whether that is funny or sad or mixed. 🤔
I"ve decided to at least sometimes consider my ME life to be amusing and absurd. Maybe it would be labeled a Dark Comedy.

In lieu of the alternative.

I've crashed with PEM any time I"ve used my eyes for the purposes of focusing on the end of a pencil paint brush, or Illustration 10-f in the key to the ferns of Oaxaca Mexico.

Then there are the neck issues when one is looks AT the paper.

The back issues associated with the Chair and the Table.

The "irregular" POTS I enjoy.

Then there is the part where you start standing up, because of the momentum involved in Painting.

And then its 9 months later and all the stuff is still on the only table in the house, so I put it all away.

Today, I took a bit of the supplies back out again, and I sharpened one pencil.

I was just going to lecture next, on the rabbit problem.

Denver, eh? Could be jack rabbits AND cottontails, around there.

I never had the rabbit problem at my remote wilderness address. Because no rabbit was able to persist, in the habitat type I resided in, which is a biological observation that I made. I intended to publish that. I intended to publish alot of things.

Good intentions.

I met the rabbit problem out in a remote arid area. It Seemed every night, the crew at this remote place, would go get chicken wire out of the barn to surround the base of the vehicles to prevent the rabbits from chewing on tubing, I presume.

Maybe it like a baby pacifier? Those are the most additive things, for those who have oral issues.

At least the rabbits don't move in and take up residence.

Has been something like 20 years since I've drawn any picture pictures.
Sketch notes for hobby projects, yes.
Actual pictures?
Nope, not any more.

Even though I subscribed to the magazine for years and years I didn't join the forum, so, all the pictures were other people's.

🎨🖌️🚂 For those of us who paint/painted backdrops for our model railways his techniques work grandly.
👍

One thing is a certainty. Allergies get worse as we get older. Our bodies change and reactions are fast. Sometimes I feel like such a prisoner in my own home. And the source? Well, that could be anything and everything.

But please don't let my experience be yours. Air purifiers help (I think), but once our immune systems break down, we're open to every assault. Is it today's world, or are we simply living too long? I wonder about that, yet have found no answers. As I often have to say, "The answer is: There is no answer." Best wishes, Lenora

i have just realized, my iqair is garbage now. i ordered new filters, and the new filters caused a burning sensation on lips. also a bit on throat.
they probably did change materials, now i do not tolerate it anymore.
and this thing was expensive. why are they doing this. its promoted for mcas by some sellers, when the filter spreads gluey smell in the room , this is not mcas compatible at all!!

One thing is a certainty. Allergies get worse as we get older.
to better cope with this, i reframed it in my head to "some allergies get better when older" , now i am happy

Another possibility is that we are now living long enough.

In earlier centuries I with my messy health from birth might not have survived infanthood.
Or maybe the health crisis I had at 5 would have gotten me.
Or maybe the health crisis in my 20s would have gotten me.
Or maybe the health crisis in my 40s would have gotten me.

according to the Bible around and before the time of Jesus but after Abraham , people got around 70-80 years in age. of course only if they didnt die early. thats 2000 to 3000 years ago.

Psalm 90:10 (King James Version):

"The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away."
