How To Add an Avatar

An avatar is a picture that represents you on the forum. It can be a picture of yourself or an image you like. Your avatar appears in your profile and anywhere your username appears (posts, blogs, etc.) If you choose not to upload an avatar, you will be represented by a generic picture of a question mark. Using an avatar makes you easily identifiable on the forum.

To Upload a New Avatar

• Hover over your username (found in the user tabs, top right-hand side of the page)
• A pop-up will appear, Click on 'Avatar' and the 'Avatar Editor' pop-up will appear

• Click on 'Browse'
• Find the picture that you want to upload and click on it
• To upload the file from your computer, click on 'Open', your image will then appear in the Avatar Editor
• To center your image, place your mouse pointer on the image and move it around until it is centered
• Click on 'Okay'

To Edit Your Avatar

• Hover over your username (found in the user tabs, top right-hand side of the page)
• A pop-up will appear, Click on 'Avatar' and the 'Avatar Editor' pop-up will appear

• Click on 'Choose File'
• Find the picture that you want to upload and click on it
• To upload the file from your computer, click on 'Open', your image will then appear in the Avatar Editor
• To center your image, place your mouse pointer on the image and move it around until it is centered
• Click on 'Okay'

Note: You can delete your avatar by choosing the option 'Delete Current Avatar?'. This option is located at the bottom of the Avatar Editor pop-up.

Note: For the best result, make sure the picture you are uploading is square.
