Are things being discussed today also going to be covered on Saturday?Just Saturday.
Are things being discussed today also going to be covered on Saturday?
Also I wonder if some of the things being discussed now are not yet published, how much will they be able to share tomorrow ?
Doublethink is common all over from politics to discrimination/misogyny.We are accused of being anti-science, yet we have so much love, respect and admiration for these wonderful scientists.
But you can tell us, can't youThere will be a lot of the same speakers, but you're right; what's being presented yesterday and today includes some unpublished data that won't necessarily be shared Saturday.
Aw, all the best bits censored. There will be a lot of the same speakers, but you're right; what's being presented yesterday and today includes some unpublished data that won't necessarily be shared Saturday.

Aw, all the best bits censored.
For entirely understandable reasons.
Dear Jaime
...but no.
But most of them will turn into papers in a year or two...
not surprised (which is why i was too polite to ask, though someone else did) but
...but no.
Continuing my Simpsons related replies of recent threadsBut most of them will turn into papers in a year or two...

Dear Jaime
A year or two is too long for those who are bed bound and non functional, those who have symptoms around the clock, and can never step outside of their door....
Understandable, generally is it promising / exciting / pointing toward treatments?
A year or two! That is very discouraging. It is so hard to be patient when we have already waited for decades. I thought we were closer to some news, even some tidbits to keep us going.

The publication of papers doesn't necessarily correlate with the possibility of trying experimental treatments. For instance, there might be trials to participate in or some evidence provided that we could present to our doctors to try treatments that are already available--but for other conditions. For example, we don't have full results on the efficacy of rituximab, but some doctors are treating ME/CFS patients with it.A year or two is too long for those who are bed bound and non functional, those who have symptoms around the clock, and can never step outside of their door....
Hi guys,
So I thought I'd start this thread where we can all have a discussion and post any thoughts-pre, during and post-Symposium!
Things are hotting up! The scientists that are flying in tonight and having dinner at the local hotel! I'm sure some good discussion will be had here. Janet @Janet Dafoe (Rose49) had also told me that her house is practically a production line at the moment with Ashley @AshleyHalcyoneH putting together the conference folders full of information for everyone!
So please post away, and myself and @Janet Dafoe (Rose49) will also be posting before and throughout the Symposium.
Enjoy,
B
