Your CPET experiences

I'd love to hear about your 2-day CPET experience, if you have had this kind of testing done in CA, NY or AZ. It's been recommended by some, but the entire process sounds scary (and quite painful on the joints). I can just imagine getting really dizzy and falling off the bike only to break a hip due to osteoporosis...

On top of that, dealing with the inevitable crash afterwards is concerning.

I wouldn't do it. Ultimately CPET is a diagnostic for the condition but one that causes severe harm. It is interesting from a research perspective and if something else can be found from inducing PEM it may bring about understanding, but its not ethically to put a patient through it for diagnostic purposes.
