On WPI facebook page, WPI posted that VIP Dx now has the XMRV test available. Call them at (775) 351-1890 or email info@vipdx.com.

This is the first time i've seen any kind of statement from WPI about where to be tested.

yes, this is medicare's policy in general. i guess a few folks with medicare will have to be the pioneers to find out if it will cover this specific test.
