The Huffington Post is being handled by another person in our grass roots group.- a Lyme sufferer who is also struggling. The story on lyme in australia is here. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/c-m-rubin/the-global-search-for-edu_66_b_3241946.html

and a local story just in.
http://www.geelongadvertiser.com.au/article/2013/05/06/364390_news.html
:- the horror stories are the same all over Australia and we may be talking about 200,000 people affected.

  • There are about 18 venues being lit up green for this.
  • The media coverage has been almost saturating.
  • It is a great morale booster for those involved.
Even local awareness events are being hugely successful

In Sydney
Speakers will include: Mualla McManus (Karl McManus Foundation), Dr Kate Wood, Mal Pace, Sue Sherrat, Jodie Donnelly, Janice Foster and Karen Smith. Danielle Ryan (Sydney's/ Australia's first Lyme protest organiser) will also be joining Jodie in leading the crowd in chants.

Two talented teenage Lymies, Tara Stevens and Ashleigh Williams-Smith will perform Emily Madden's Song - "Right These Wrongs" that was originally written for the Worldwide Lyme Protest by Emily.

Tara Stevens will also perform Beautifully Broken, which she wrote about watching her sister become sicker, and also living with Lyme herself.

Hi Kate
Thanks for that.

I am in contact with the CEO of Infectolabs who test Lyme (and treat)
He has a grant ranked number in top 4 or 5 (forget actual place) in priority in Euro fund list.
Also in contact with Joan in UK who is looking at ME/CFS treatments with some considerable success.
She presented at a conference in Germany in May
