This isn't mine, it was pulled from a study of people who have a genetic condition called Thalassemia Major. People here have a lot more knowledge about this stuff so I thought I'd ask about what stands out and what might be worth looking into further.

My thoughts:
  • High glutamate, low cystine: Low cysteine? Low glutathione? Might benefit from NAC.
  • Low tyrosine: Probably related to low phenylalanine. Might benefit from supplementation. As phenylalanine or tyrosine?
  • Low isoleucine: Don't know, need to research more.
  • Low taurine: High oxidative stress. Supplementation might help.
  • Low glutamine: I know it's common with high glutamate, but I don’t know what it means. Would glutamine supplementation be a good idea?
  • High proline: Probably deficient in a cofactor, need to look into it more.
  • High serine: Probably deficient in a cofactor. Glycine? Folate?
