What is PEMD?

I've seen this term used a few times on PR, sometimes as PEM/PEMD. What does the D stand for?

I've heard people say PEMmed verbally (sorry, my phonics has failed me at the moment and I can't work out how it should be spelled, though perhaps it looks wrong because of half caps) to refer to having a Post-Exertional Malaise relapse.

Not sure whether this would be what PEMD means, however.
