What are RECOMMENDED antibiotics for excessive H2S and bacterial infections?

Which ones does De Meirleir use?

My doctor works with KDM (and through him I had the privelege of meeting the man himself). I was prescribed Ampicillin and Erythromicin in response to tests that elevated entercoccus and streptococcus.

I dont know about what De Meirleir uses but i used Erytheromycin to get rid of the Staph and Strep infections i had in my body and they were gone on retesting (i did take olive leaf extract to help kill them too at the same time as doctor told me they can be hard to get rid of).

Erytheromycin seems good for many things and when i researched it...seemed a better thing to use when I read it worked for both things (one of my cultures had been resistant to most antibacterials when they checked that but it was shown the Eryth. would work on it).

It'll depend on what infections you have and what your personal gut bacteria/dysbiosis picture is. KDM builds a picture from stool and blood samples and other testing as he sees necessary. Then treatment can begin.

H2S is a product of dysbiosis, so correcting the gut bacteria will hopefully decrease the production of H2S. In the past 6 months I'm now onto my fourth antibiotic and continued probiotics per KDM's treatment.

Is there a list or chart of the GI pathogens that he has found to produce H2S?

This Oct 09 slideshow highlights streptococcus, enterococcus and prevotella as being over represented in patients and as being strong H2S producers.

Hi

I used Amoxicilline 500 mg EC (Enteric coated) and its works good on Streptococcus.

The cure is:
Week 1: Antibiotics for 7 days (1 + 1)
Week 2 and 3: Probiotic VSL#3
Start the cure again

I did perform a regular GI panel sent to Diagnos-Techs, Inc http://www.diagnostechs.com/mainFra...w.diagnostechs.com/body_text/testimonials.htm

I have not performed a new test yet, and this one will i probably sent to redlabs. That's because redlabs GI test are fare more specific regarding to reveal levels of lactobacillus and the good bacteria.

In Norway there are several patiens seeing KDM, and have lots of info regarding his treatment.

KDM is using a varity of antibiotics depending of findings.

The treatment and removeral of H2S is of high importance.........
