The Minister of Health and Social Services has agreed the recommendations of the Task and Finish Groups report on CFS/ME in Wales. The management of chronic diseases is a high priority for the NHS in Wales. The Minister for Health and Social Services has accepted the recommendations of the Task & Finish Group on CFS/ME in Wales report. Local Health Boards have been asked to begin implementing the recommendations with immediate effect. Document Download

I read the 59-page report. I thought there were interesting points made in some of the stakeholders' submisions. Some interesting in a good way; some in a bad way! What will happen on the ground who knows, but it was interesting to see critiques of what currently happens in England and Wales. Probably relevant to people in other countries where there are government-funded services (usually based on a rehab model) for CFS.

Probably not so interesting for people who would have high standards of course i.e. what one can get if one has money in the US.
