I think their attention was pretty much riveted on the bags and bags of money, and the richly funded 'research' studies .... not to mention the hugely remunerative lecture tours and paid attendance at various conferences ....

so our education, our universities, our health care, our everything is whatever the guy which is paying the money wants.
