Valcyte - confused about dosing

The normal dose is 4x450mg/day. But specialists and success stories here talk about 900 mg/day.

What is your knowledge?

Over the years when it was alot more popular, people would start with the higher doses many many found it hard to tolerate. It started to become popular to start with 1 x 450mg tab a day, many were also on valtrex or famvir as well.
