Apologies if this isn't any help. I have a list of UK functional med docs but not yet contacted any of them. Sorry to hear you're finding the wait list is closed. How many have you tried? I have been recommended an Endocrinologist who works privately in London who has a special interest in fatigue. He has a reputation for being very astute and openminded. The nickname Dr House gets banded about. I was in touch with someone who was helped greatly by him with complex co-morbid conditions well he was excellent at referring him to relevant specialists and picking up on things. His name is Dr Lulsegged. I am hoping to see him at some point but currently trying some other stuff or rather trying to get back to some stable level where I can try that.

Hi Emma I am on the same trail. My preference is a medical doctor who has went to the dark side of functional medicine. I just popped a post about any recommendations. Have you managed to get to see anyone? I have said to family I am going to do more scouting and I may well contact and research every FM doc there is in the UK so I feel ok with my choice.

Hi both
I've found a medical herbalist who is also trained in functional testing so I'm going with her ...
She seems incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and works a lot with severe m.e and limes

That's good @Emmarose47 I hope she can help you make progress. Would be interested to hear how you get on but obviously only providing you feel like you wish to do that. Best wishes

Sure kes happy to share ..
I'm hoping the tests show something but if it's limes know that can be hard to treat and I got bitten so long ago

I would also be interested how you get on @Emmarose47. My grandad was a herbalist and I would love a natural approach. I only wish he was around now to try a multitude of his potions. I am also eye a woman in London who has a range of training I like but not traditional medicine route.
