You need vitamin B3 to produce NAD.
NAD (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a compound that is produced from vitamin B3 when it enters our body's cells. NAD plays an important role in metabolism and energy production because it transfers electrons for various biochemical reactions within cells. Source: Infusion IV
